Aripiprazole (Abilify)

Aripiprazole, sold under the brand name Abilify, is an atypical antipsychotic that helps regulate dopamine and serotonin levels in the brain. It is commonly used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and schizoaffective disorder. Unlike traditional antipsychotic medications, Abilify has a lower risk of sedation and weight gain, making it a preferred option for some patients.

At Luxury Psychiatry Clinic, we may prescribe Abilify for individuals struggling with psychosis, mood swings, and treatment-resistant depression. It is also sometimes used as an adjunct treatment for major depressive disorder (MDD) in combination with an SSRI or SNRI like Sertraline (Zoloft) or Duloxetine (Cymbalta).

Buspirone

Buspirone is an anti-anxiety medication that works by affecting serotonin and dopamine receptors, making it a non-sedative alternative to benzodiazepines like Xanax or Ativan. It is often prescribed for generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) and is a great option for those who need long-term anxiety management without the risk of dependency.

At Luxury Psychiatry Clinic, we use Buspirone for patients experiencing chronic anxiety, often as part of a broader mental health treatment plan that includes talk therapy. Unlike benzodiazepines, Buspirone does not cause significant sedation or euphoria, making it a safer alternative for individuals with a history of substance use disorders.

Duloxetine (Cymbalta)

Duloxetine, commonly known as Cymbalta, is a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) used to treat major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and even some forms of chronic pain like fibromyalgia. By increasing serotonin and norepinephrine levels, Cymbalta helps improve mood, energy, and emotional stability.

At Luxury Psychiatry Clinic, we may prescribe Duloxetine for individuals experiencing depression, anxiety disorders, and pain-related mental health conditions. Because it affects both mental health and physical health, it is particularly beneficial for patients who struggle with both depression and chronic pain syndromes.

Escitalopram (Lexapro)

Lexapro is an SSRI that works by increasing serotonin levels in the brain, helping to stabilize mood and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression. It is frequently prescribed for generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) and major depressive disorder (MDD).

At Luxury Psychiatry Clinic, we prescribe Lexapro to patients struggling with anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and panic attacks. Because it has fewer side effects compared to older antidepressants, Lexapro is a well-tolerated choice for many individuals beginning mental health treatment.

Lithium

Lithium is a mood stabilizer primarily used to treat bipolar disorder by reducing mood swings and preventing episodes of mania and depression. It helps regulate dopamine and serotonin, making it an effective option for long-term mood stabilization.

At Luxury Psychiatry Clinic, we prescribe Lithium for patients diagnosed with bipolar disorder who require long-term medication management. It can also help reduce suicidal ideation in patients with severe mood disorders, making it an important part of comprehensive mental health care.

Adderall

Adderall is a stimulant that contains a mix of amphetamine salts, which help increase dopamine and norepinephrine levels in the brain. It is commonly prescribed for ADHD to improve focus, impulse control, and attention span.

At Luxury Psychiatry Clinic, we may prescribe Adderall to individuals diagnosed with ADHD or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder who require medication management to improve daily functioning. Because stimulants can be habit-forming, we closely monitor dosage and effectiveness to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

Fluoxetine (Prozac)

Fluoxetine, better known as Prozac, is a widely used SSRI that helps increase serotonin levels in the brain. It is commonly prescribed for depression, OCD, panic disorder, and even bulimia nervosa.

At Luxury Psychiatry Clinic, we often prescribe Prozac for individuals experiencing major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Its long half-life makes it a suitable option for patients who prefer a medication with a more gradual effect on mood stabilization.

Trazodone

Trazodone is an atypical antidepressant that works by modulating serotonin levels and is frequently used to treat depression and insomnia. Unlike traditional sedatives, it provides sleep support without the risk of dependency.

At Luxury Psychiatry Clinic, we prescribe Trazodone to patients struggling with depression-related insomnia or those who need an antidepressant with sedative properties. It can be an effective alternative to benzodiazepines like Xanax for individuals seeking a safer sleep aid.

Sertraline (Zoloft)

Sertraline, commonly known as Zoloft, is an SSRI that helps regulate serotonin levels and is widely prescribed for depression, anxiety disorders, panic attacks, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

At Luxury Psychiatry Clinic, we use Zoloft to help patients manage major depressive disorder, OCD, and social anxiety disorder. Its well-tolerated nature and effectiveness in treating various mental health disorders make it one of the most frequently prescribed psychiatric medications at our clinic.
